Use your own judgment and prices

Cotiza calculates from the information you enter. You choose the scope, rates, quantities and customer-facing terms, and you review the result before sharing. Worked examples show arithmetic; they do not establish local market prices, professional requirements or expected earnings.

Estimates and records

Customer documents are estimates, not invoices, payment receipts, signatures or proof of acceptance. Agree directly with your customer on scope, price, timing and any changes. The app does not collect customer payments, calculate taxes or submit tax or accounting records.

Interpreting job results

The amount received is a running total you enter. Subtracting entered direct costs gives a limited view of the job before taxes, overhead and unrecorded expenses. Hourly results depend on the hours entered. They are not guaranteed earnings or accounting net profit.

Availability and planned subscriptions

The web calculator is free. The iPhone and iPad app is in development; availability and subscription prices are not final. No app subscriptions are sold on this website. Before any future purchase, review the actual price, billing period, renewal terms and features shown by Apple.

Free access and local limits

The planned free app tier allows three new saved jobs per calendar month. Existing records remain accessible and editable, and PDF/text sharing and backups remain available. Premium removes the monthly save allowance and adds templates and trends, while the same local storage limits apply. See App & pricing and Help for details.

Keep and share records carefully

The website does not save a calculator history. The iPhone and iPad app keeps records locally; export backups you control before deleting the app or changing devices. Review customer documents and recipients before sharing. Only enter or share customer information you are entitled to use for the work.

Apple app terms

The distributed iPhone and iPad app will use Apple’s standard End User License Agreement, together with the purchase terms shown by Apple. Apple manages subscriptions and cancellation. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. This development website is not an available purchase offer.
